Daniel was born in Sindelfingen, an auto-manufacturing town outside of Stuttgart, Germany.

At the age of 17 during a trip to Paris he is approached by a model scout and later on meets Karl Lagerfeld, which prompts him to quit high school and move to Paris.

During the first year of his modelling career, Daniel walks runway shows for Chanel, Givenchy and Paul Smith, and features in an Armani TV ad. He also becomes the face of a global Garnier campaign.

Next to modelling, he starts working as a styling assistant, which leads him to production.

He soon launches his own production company, in 2009, age 22, providing photo production and casting services to brands such as Louis Vuitton, Lacoste, Vogue US and Vogue Italia.

His professional services quickly expand to brand consultancy, when he starts doing the image and development strategy for Arnys, leading to a highly successful sale to LVMH in 2012.

That same year he also expands into fashion show production working on the iconic shows of Vetements amongst others.

In 2017 Daniel decides to move to London, where he is currently finishing his first book and working as a life coach.
